Soccer Player Ezequiel Lavezzi Offended Chinese People with a Racist Pose

The Argentina national team forward player Ezequiel Lavezzi who also plays for Chinese club Hebei China fortune is in controversy these days.

The 32 years old Argentina-born plays at number 10 position in the Chinese club and plays forward in the club.

The stud surrounded himself in controversy after striking a racist pose to resemble a Chinese person.  In the promotional photoshoot for pro team in Chinese super league, he chose to pose with eyes looking that of Chinese people.

Lavezzi addressing the issue said that he was trying to make funny faces for entertainment purpose.

He stated”  "no intention of insulting the Chinese people and did not do it with any bad intentions."

He briefed, "I deeply apologize if this photo has offended the Chinese public and fans. I will be more careful in the future."
