Six people have been reported dead after a twin-engine plane crashed in Texas on Monday morning, CNN reported.

Texas Department of Public Safety Lieutenant Jason Reyes told the incident occurred before 9 on Monday morning near Kerrville Municipal Airport.

The victims of the crash have been identified as Marc Tellepsen, 45, Scott Reagan Miller, 55, Stuart Roben Kensinger, 55, Mark Damien Scioneaux, 58, Angela Kensinger, 54, and the plane's pilot Jeffery Carl Weiss, 65.

A Federal Aviation Administration told the Beechcraft BE58 was getting ready to land at Kerrville Municipal Airport while it crashed. Wreckages of the aircraft were found about six miles northwest of the airport.

The National Transportation Safety Board will be investigating the sudden crash
