Singing Legend Mel Tillis Died At 85, What's The Cause of His Death?

The legendary country music singer and a Country Music Hall of Famer, Mel Tillis has died at 85 on Sunday.

Besides being a singer, he had also appeared in many movies alongside Burt Reynolds and Clint Eastwood and had co-hosted the ABC variety series Mel and Susan Together along with Susan Anton.

Tillis, who had been struggling with intestinal issues since 2016 died at the Munroe Regional Medical Center in Florida. Celebrities such as Crystal Gale, Charlie Daniels, Tim McGraw, Blake Shelton and other more tributed him on social media.

The singer's daughter and singer-songwriter Pam Tillis's official Facebook page wrote paying tribute to the late musician and songwriter.

Tillis was born on August 8, 1932, in Tampa, Florida. He was survived by his six children, six grandchildren, a great-grandson, the mother of five of his children, and his longtime partner.
