Boy George is an English singer, songwriter, fashion designer and photographer best known as the lead singer of the Grammy-winning pop band Culture Club.

The band has recorded several hit songs including Do You Really Want To Hurt Me, Time and Karma Chameleon. He became a part of the English New Romantic movement that ranged from the late 1970s to the early 1980s.

Boy George was the lead singer of 'Jesus Loves You' from 1989-1992. His 1990s solo music had the influence of artists like David Bowie, Iggy Pop etc. This successful megastar reportedly has a net worth of $35 million.

He managed to draw the attention of music entrepreneur Malcolm McLaren with his androgynous dressing style. McLaren, the former manager of Sex pistols, arranged for Boy George to perform with Bow Wow Wow.

George owns a house in Hampstead area known as Gothic house. We don't know much details about the house and its cost. He has a Mercedes car, the best among his collection. He has also shared many photos of him in different other cars through which we can a s sume that he has several other cars.

George has recorded many songs with his group. He has also released several solo songs. Singing career is his main source of earning. Prior to this, he appeared in television series including Ashes to Ashes, The A-Team and  I Am Cait and was also the contestant in New Celebrity Apprentice.

Boy George was born in Eltham, London to Jeremiah and Dinah O’Dowd. He grew up with his four brothers and a sister. He spent his childhood at Warren Street in Central London. He and his friend, Marilyn were the regular visitors of Blitz run by Steve Strange and Rusty Egan. He was inspired by David Bowie, T. Rex since his childhood.

He first performed with the group Bow Wow Wow but had a problem with lead singer Annabella Lwin.Later he started his own group with Mikey Craig. They were later joined by Jon Moss and Roy Hay and started their own group Culture Club.
