A Group Of Four Men Attacked A Female Couple After They Refused To Kiss For Their Entertainment.
On a London night bus, Ryanair airline flight attendant and her girlfriend were battered by four men in a moving bus after the pair refused to kiss for their entertainment.
The incident took place on 30th May, when Uruguayan Melania Geymonat and her American girlfriend Chris were on the way to West Hampstead from Uruguay.
Opening up about the incident on Facebook post, 28 years old Melania revealed that she and her girlfriend were along on a double-decker bus when a gang of four men sitting in the back of the bus began demanding kiss for their entertainment.
On the Facebook post, Melania wrote:
They started behaving like hooligans, demanding that we kissed so they could enjoy watching, calling us ‘lesbians’ and describing sexual positions.
When the female couple resisted and ignored their attempts, the men began trashing them in the moving bus. Melania was left with a broken nose and a black eye.
According to the complaint in the London Police, those boys even robbed the couple before fleeing from the spot. Melania, in the complaint, said:
There were at least four of them and one spoke Spanish while the others had a British accent.
The Prime Minister of United Kingdom, Theresa May has condemned the a s sault saying This was a sickening attack and my thoughts are with the couple affected. Nobody should ever have to hide who they are or who they love and we must work together to eradicate unacceptable violence towards the LGBT community.
Now, in a statement, the Met Police has revealed that four arrests have been made in a link to the attack. The boys, aged 15 to 18, had been taken into custody on suspicion of aggravated GBH and robbery.
