Rob Niter was born on 29 Jul 1982, in Memphis, Tennessee, under the birth sign Leo. He is the son of Robert Niter, a top-level U.S. Army Command Sergeant Major and Marsha Niter, a child development school teacher.
Niter served in the U.S. Air Force for 14 years and excelled to the rank of Master Sergeant, one of the most significant promotions in an enlisted career. While serving, he studied acting and performing, drama and theater arts. Niter also performed in many plays at various military installations.
In 2013, Niter performed cardiopulmonary resuscitation on the man for 25 minutes and brought him back to life. Niter told Houston Chronicle, “The feeling of knowing that you saved someone’s life is truly an amazing feeling. Knowing that our actions that day prevented someone from dying and gave them another chance.”
Niter was later honored as the 'Hero of Houston' and commended by then, Mayor Annise Parker.
