Retired economics editor and correspondent for ABC News, Dan Cordtz has died. He was 92 years old. Associated Press reported Cordtz died of cancer on Saturday, 4th May in Albuquerque, New Mexico, his daughter Kay Cordtz confirmed.
Before he made his trade to ABC News, he worked for The Wall Street Journal and some other publications. His initial works were to report on inflation in the 70s.
In a 1984 Washington Journalism Review profile, Cordtz told what he cared most was about contributing to the public's understanding of how the economy works.
Cordtz who is from Santa Fe lived with his daughter Kay Cordtz's home in Albuquerque since he was diagnosed with cancer. He also died in his daughter's house.
Along with his daughter Kay, he is survived by his daughters Wendy Eaton, lives in New York City and son Jeffrey Cordtz who lives in Atlanta. Besides, he was married three times; all three ended in divorce.
