Famous Batman artist and Ultraverse co-creator, Norm Breyfogle died. The comic artist pa s sed away on Monday, September 24th in Houghton, Michigan.

The cause of his death is yet to be revealed- Norm was 58. According to multiple tabloids, Norm suffered a stroke in 2014.

Fellow workers, celebrities, and his fans flooded the Twitter with the tributes for the artist where they expressed their sorrow on his demise while praising his legacy. Here are some of the tweets:

Born in Iowa in 1960, Breyfogle had a long career working with DC Comics where he built on titles like Detective Comics, Shadow of the Bat, Batman: Holy Terror, Batman Beyond Unlimited, and Batman Birth of the Demon among others.

Later, he worked with Marvel Comics and co-created the Ultraverse and helped to launch Prime. He also worked on Avengers, Black Panther, Marvel Fanfare, Moon Knight, Hellcat.

In 2014, Breyfogle suffered a stroke and went through some serious medical treatment. Then, his fans quickly donated around $89,000 to help him cover his $200,000 medical expenses. DC, Marvel, and the Hero initiative also aided Breyfogle.
