R. Kelly's Alleged Captive Speaks Out, Denies Holding Several Women In 'Abusive Cult'
The R&B singer R. Kelly denied the allegations that he is holding several young women in an ‘abusive cult’.
After a Buzzfeed report published on 17th July accused the singer of brainwashing women and imprisoning them in a kind of abusive cult, Jocelyn Savage, one of the women allegedly held captive by the singer has finally spoken out.
After Savage’s parents held a press conference saying that their daughter was experiencing a Stockholm syndrome, TMZ tried to contact her.
While talking to TMZ, she gave a pretty positive response saying
I am in a happy place in my life, and I’m not being brainwashed or anything like that. I just want everybody to know, my parents and everybody in the world, that I am totally fine. I’m happy where I’m at, and everything is okay with me…I’ve never been held hostage or anything of that nature.
The 50-year-old singer has faced previous accusations of sexual misconduct but was never found guilty.
The police have investigated the case, but the girls claim they are in love with Kelly. And, as they are over the age of consent, there is nothing that law enforcement can do.
