Monaco's Princess Stephanie's son Louis Ducruet and his longtime girlfriend Marie Chevallier got married over the weekend.

Alike cousin Charlotte Casiraghi, Louis also wedded in two ceremonies. They got married once with a civil ceremony on Friday and then on Saturday in a more elaborate affair at Monaco's cathedral.

On Friday, Louis and Marie were married by Monaco's mayor George Marsan followed by the informal garden reception in the Prince's Palace. The bride opted for a white silk crepe jumpsuit from Barcelona-based designer Rosa Clara for the civil ceremony.

On Saturday's ceremony, the bride came in an open-top Rolla-Royce decorated with pink and white flowers. Marie wore a gown designed by her new sister-in-law Pauline Ducruet for the Saturday's Royal ceremony.

Louis recently said of their choice of the venue:

I was really attached to my grandfather. And I wanted him to be here with me. At some point he will be with me during the wedding ceremony at the cathedral. That’s why we chose it, and Marie supported me in this decision, even though the place is big and there’s a protocol, but that’s the only way for my grandfather to be with us.

Louis and Marie met in 2011 at a Cannes nightclub, where they discovered they were cla s smates at a nearby business college. They both describe their relationship as the "love at first sight." They announced their engagement in February 2018-they got engaged while they were on holiday in Vietnam.
