Synopsis

Paul Winford who is known as Pete Mount was an American professional basketball player. He played in the National Basketball League for the Sheboygan Red Skins. He was also known as the father of American Basketball Association, player Rick Mount. Pete worked at the Detroit Diesel Allison Plant in Indiana.

Early Life and Education

Pete Mount was born on March 10, 1925, in Lebanon, Indiana to John Harding Mount and Mamie Anderson Mount. He holds American by nationality and follows Christianity. He joined Lebanon High school where he completed his education level. When he was at school from his early age he started playing basketball which later on turns out to be his career.

The most talented and famous basketball player, Pete Mount is 6 feet 4 inch in height and weighs 185 lbs.  He has got Brown eyes with brown hair color. He has got a gorgeous look with which he can grab the attention of many people. Mount has an athletic build system.

Career

Pete Mount is a professional basketball player once led Lebanon’s Tigers to the State Championship game, losing by a narrow margin. After his high school, he immediately signs a contract to play professionally at Michigan. He also inducted into the U.S. Army following the sectional tourney. After a military career, he signed to play with Sheboygan.

He became an American Purdue and played professionally with the Indiana Pacers, Colonels, Memphis teams and Utah Stars. Not only Pete but his son and grandson were also able to success a lot in sports. His grandson Richie also became s Lebanon High school basketball star who played for Purdue.

Personal Life

A 64-years-old Pete Mount who was one of the great dad, grandpas and most importantly one of the bright basketball players died on February 3, 1990, in Lebanon. He was buried and the place was named as Oak Hill Cemetery where still thousands of visitors and fans are seen praying for his family happiness.
