Outlander Starlet Caitriona Balfe Reveals Her Engagement: Flashes Her Whopping Engagement Ring

Outlander starring Caitriona Balfe is kicking off the new year in a big way.

The 38-year-old actress revealed she got engaged to her long-time boyfriend Tony McGill at the Golden Globe Award 2018 on Sunday, 7th January

Balfe flashed her elaborate diamond engagement ring while walking the red carpet in the Beverly Hilton Hotel-organized award function.

Stepped on the red carpet

Later in the evening, Balfe told People that her fiance popped the question during their vacation. She said,

It happened over the break. I'm very happy.

Balfe looked amazing as she stepped on the red carpet where she wore a silk taffeta Chanel gown flanked with tulle flowers and accessorized with a black pair of strappy heels.

Won Oscar Wilde Awards 

The couple started dating nearly two years back, but they have kept their relationship pretty low profile. Last time, the lovebirds were photographed at the Oscar Wilde Awards in February.

Their relationship first came to the public in 2015 after their friend shared an Instagram video of Balfe sitting on McGill's lap.
