English singer-songwriter and dancer Oritse Williams’ £3 million mansion has been burnt to the ground by fire a couple of days after he was cleared of raping a fan in a hotel room.
The fire broke out yesterday afternoon, and around 70 firefighters were called to tackle the huge blaze. But they could not do anything to prevent the three storey building being destroyed.
No one was injured in the incident, but police were called to the scene. The fire chiefs are investigating the exact cause of the fire.
The firefighters stayed until 7 pm to bring the incident under control.
The London Fire Brigade’s spokesman claimed that around ten fire engines and 70 firefighters were called to set off the fire. He added:
The Brigade was called at 4.27pm, and the fire was under control by 6.58pm. The cause of the fire is under investigation
Williams bought the six-bedroom house for the worth of £3 million back in 2013. The house was bought with his then-girlfriend AJ Azari.
After five years of buying the mansion, Williams put the home on sale at the knock-down price of £1.75million after he was accused of rape, but it is yet to be sold.
The lavish property was once owned by legendary late comedian Ronnie Corbett and was sold to 32 years old record producer.
The house features a hot tub in the bedroom, a ping pong table, and an outdoor swimming pool.
Last week, the dancer was found not guilty of rape. He was accused of rape on 20 years old tattoo artist fan at a hotel room after plying her and two friends with alcohol back on 2nd December 2016.
His friends and tour manager Jamien Nagadhana was also charged with sexual a s sault.
