North Korea Fires Another Ballistic Missile Over Japan, A Day After It Threatened Japan 'to sink'

North Korea continues the Missile Test as they have launched another ballistic missile over Japan a day after it threatened to ‘Sink’ the country and turn the US ‘into ashes and darkness.” Korea fired the missile from Sunan, north of Pyongyang on Friday morning at 6:57 am Japanese local time.

The Missile flew over the northern Japanese island of Hokkaido for 20 long minutes before it landed in the Pacific Ocean; 2200 km east of Cape Erimo.

The Missile covered the longest-ever distance which traveled 3,700 km- 800 km further than the previous launch over Japan, in August.

 

In response, The United Nations Security Council is organizing an emergency meeting on Friday while the Japanese Prime Minister, Shinjo Abe, called the act as ‘utterly unacceptable.' He said,

If North Korea continues to walk this road, there will be no bright future. We need to get North Korea to understand that.

On Thursday, 14 September, The Hermit Kingdom’s state agency threatened Japan to ‘sink’ and reduce the United States ‘to ashes and darkness’ for supporting new sanctions.’
