Nikki DeLoach was broken from the inside when her newborn was forwarded to open-heart surgery after his birth earlier this year, in September. Doctors have said that yet another surgery is on the way! 

Well, it's a challenging period for Nikki DeLoach and her husband, Ryan Goodell, who married back in September 2009.

The 38-year-old actress tied the knot to Ryan, a former member of the boy band Take 5, in September 2009. Their wedding ceremony took place in the presence of some close friends and family members.

Sources say that the couple started dating back in 2001. Taking their first year together into account, it's been 16 years since the couple has been together. And that is an achievement in itself! 

Together for 16 years and married for infinity, Nikki and Ryan are an exemplary Hollywood couple. However, this year brought a little tragedy into their joy-filled lives. The loving couple saw in public spending quality time with their child. The singer frequently shares beautiful snaps of her family on her Instagram.

DeLoach was devasted when she learned that her unborn child, Bennett Christopher Goodell had multiple complications in his heart and might not survive for long.

Bennett was born on 20 September 2017 and is five years old as of 2022. Bennett's mother,  Nikki DeLoach, went to CHLA(Children Hospital Los Angeles) with hopes they could save her son in any way. The newborn went into surgery on 25 September 2017. Cardiothoracic surgeon Vaughn Starnes was the one who performed one of the most critical operations successfully.

However, according to some reports, most kids undergoing surgery do not survive. The loving couple Nikki and her husband, Ryan, stay by the child's side as he's recovering from the surgery.

Nikki said,

None of this was easy to watch, and four nights after the surgery I was in a particularly vulnerable state. I was trying not to fall apart but I had reached my breaking point and I couldn’t hold the tears back any longer.

There's another heart surgery in the future, but at this moment, Nikki feels blessed for the miracle. The surgery was completed successfully, and her son is doing fine. 

Nikki is a proud mother of Bennett Christopher Goodell, who explained her son as a brave fighter claiming him the marvel of Gods. She explained that the event renewed her faith, helping her to remember anything is possible as per People. 

The House Bunny star also has an older child born on 22 October 2013. 

The couple has been sharing a wonderful married life since 2009 and still living happily. He currently resides in Los Angeles, California, along with her husband.
