Nicole Curtis Defends Decision To Breastfeed 30-Month Son
Rihab Addict star Nicole Curtis has defended her decision to breastfeed her 30-month-old son after she was hugely slammed for using nursing her baby as a ploy to keep him away from his father during their custody battle.

Nicole Curtis is a single mother to her son Harper whom she gave birth in May 2015 and the baby's father is Shane Mcguire whom she never married to.
The couple began asking for the separate custody of their son six months after his birth and they have been locked in a bitter legal battle over the custody issue ever since.

As part of their legal battle, Curtis said she needed more time with her son Harper because he relied on her body to be fed, to which a judge told her to use a breast pump and send it with the child when he visits his father in Minnesota.
Curtis told People magazine,
Every single day I have to weather criticism about how my child is too old to breastfeed, but when he weans, it's going to be his decision. I truly believe it's the child's choice.
Nicole Curtis currently lives in Detroit, Michigan, where she has been filming her hit HGTV home renovation show. Curtis was married to Steve Lane and also has a son Ethan with him.
