Naomie Harris

Naomie Melanie Harris is an English actress, best known for her portrayal as the voodoo witch Tia Dalma in the second and third Pirates of the Caribbean films.

Her other notable appearances include  Selena in 28 Days Later, and Winnie Mandela in Mandela: Long Walk to Freedom. She played Eve Moneypenny in the James Bond films Skyfall and Spectre.

Naomie Harris was born in the 6th of September in the year of 1976. She was born in London in England. Her mother name is Lisselle Kayla while her father name is not yet exposed. But her mother is from Jamaica while her father is from Trinidad.

Influence of her father is not much in her life because when she was born her father had already left her mother. She was completely raised by her mother who herself was a screenwriter and a healer as well. Her full name is Naomie Melanie Harris.

She was raised in London. She started her schooling from St. Marylebone School. Later she got graduated in Social And Political Science from Cambridge University in Pembroke College in 1988. At some point of the time, she also got herself trained at the Bristol Old Vic Theatre School.

Similarly, she played in tv shows too. Some of which are Simon and the Eitch, Erasmus Microman, DREAM Team, Trial And Retribution, Small Island, Blood and Oil and Accused. She has been nominated as well as won many awards. She has won Black Reel Awards for her movie 28 Days Later.

Similarly, she has won RTS Televisions award in 2010 for Small Island and later in 2011, she won Glamour Award for the theatre Frankenstein. Lately, in 2013 she won Essence Award and The Hollywood Reporter Award for the movie Skyfall and Mandela: Long Walk to Freedom respectively.

In the same year, she also won Harpers Bazaar Woman of the Year Awards for biopic Mandela: Long Walk to freedom. At the end of 2013, she was again awarded Elle Woman in Hollywood Award and Capri, Hollywood International Film Festival.
