The lead singer for around two decades of Molly Hatchet, Phil McCormack took his last breath at the age of 58.

The statement read like this,
It is with great sorrow to announce the pa s sing of our friend and band member, Phil McCormack. Our condolences and prayers go out to his family during this time of loss. Phil's contributions to Molly Hatchet were heard around the world. He will be missed but never forgotten.
He died on 26th April 2019. However, the cause of his death is yet to disclose.
Well, the singer joined Molly Hatchet band in 1992 as a temporary replacement for Danny Joe Brown. After three years in April 1995, he became a full-time member after Danny left the band due to his health issues.
Prior to joining Molly Hatchet, Phil also worked for the band The Roadducks where he contributed for Get Ducked album in 1987.
