Michigan Football Head Coach Jim Harbaugh's Son Jim Harbaugh Jr. Came Out As Gay
Michigan football head coach, Jim Harbaugh's son Jim Harbaugh Jr., came out of the closet to his father after the Presidential election in November 2016 and received an uplifting response from him.
James shared the moment when he told his father he was a gay with Two Outs podcast in a recent interview. He said that it was after the 2016 election when he first time talked to his father. He added it was about 2 am when he told his father how he was feeling at the moment and how the things were going for him, with tears in eyes.
Harbaugh said,
I just blurred out- and told him for the first time verbatim- 'Dad, I'm gay. DO you know that?' And because of that, this is why X, Y, Z. I'm scared because of this, that and the other.
He added, He (father) has supported me in everything I've done. I know he's supportive of me and I feel lucky in that regard, that my entire family is supportive of me.
Harburg Jr. is one of the seven children of Jim Harbaugh, and one of three from his first marriage- who is currently studying BFA in directing at Michigan's School of Music, Theatre, and Dance. Being in Ann Arbor, Harbour Jr. has been spending more time with his father, and he believes his relationship with his father has become stronger than ever.
