Michael Stevens was an American producer, writer, and director. He was best known for his movies such as The Thin Red Line (1998), Thurgood (2011) and Herblock: The Black & the White (2013). He died on 15 October 2015 in Los Angeles, California, USA. He was also a writer and producer for annual Kennedy Center Honors.
Early Life
Michael Stevens was born as Michael Murrow Stevens on 21 November 1966, in Washington, District of Columbia, U.S. to George Stevens Jr. who is a producer and creator of American Film Institute and Elizabeth Guest.
Michael Stevens graduated from Landon School in Washington, D.C in 1985. He completed his bachelors from the Duke University in the year 1989 in Bachelor of Arts degree in English Literature and Political Science.

Michael Stevens spent almost 25 years of his life in the field of the entertainment industry. He was writer and producer of the annual Kennedy Center Honors from 2002. Alexandra was a former talent executive who served Michael as a co-producer. They have two children, John Stevens and Lily Stevens. He died on 20 October 2015 due to stomach cancer in Los Angeles.
Michael Stevens was born into an entertainment industry family. George Stevens, Michael Stevens' grandfather, was a film director. Other members of his family are actors Alice Howell and Yvonne Howell and Ashton Stevens.
