Thirty-three years old television actor shared the news in a moving Facebook post last weeks. In the post, he explained that he is planning to spend his final days at home with his family.
Michael started the post explaining that he had been spending a lot of time in and out of the hospital over the past few months. The doctors have sent him home on palliative care to live out the remaining days of his life at home.
Michael revealed that no specific time limit had been given to him, but deterioration has been fairly rapid. He narrowly dodged a coma by an accidental overdose on morphine. He said:
Anyway as you can imagine this isn't the ideal way I wished things to go, and my family are dealing with a lot of grief.
