The Washington Post reported that Trump will discuss ways to combat online troll, hara s sment, and promote Internet safety.
The meeting is scheduled for March 20, at the White House which will be the first major policy push in the first lady's promise to fight cyberbullying during the Donald Trump's presidential campaign in 2016.
According to the four people familiar with her efforts, she will ask the policy executives to detail how they've sought to address the online trolls, hara s sment, and the spread of malicious content.
Trump, 47, promised the supporters at a campaign rally in Pennsylvania, to be an ''advocate for women and for children'' if Donald Trump was elected president. She said,
As adults, many of us are able to handle mean words, even lies. Children and teenagers can be fragile. Our culture has gotten too mean and too rough, especially to children and teenagers.
In June 2017, Melania Trump's communications director, Stephanie Grisham told People that the anti-cyberbullying initiatives were in the process. She told,
The first lady continues to be thoughtful about it, and we look forward to announcing something in the coming weeks.
No further announcement came afterward. Later in September, Hilary Clinton questioned Trump if she was serious about her commitment since she had not released a formal plan for her anti-cyberbullying efforts.
