Massive Bomb Attack Killed At Least 40 In Somalia Capital Mogadishu
At least 40 people have died, and dozens of citizens are injured in a ma s sive bomb attack in Hodan district, Somalia capital Mogadishu Saturday afternoon. A truck bomb exploded in a busy area of the Somalia capital which reportedly targeted a Hotel Safari.
About two hours later of the first attack, a second car blast occurred in Madina district which killed two more citizens.

A waiter at a nearby restaurant, Abdinur Abdulle said,
there was a traffic jam, and the road was packed with bystanders and cars, it's a disaster.
An eyewitness Adan Mohamed told Xinhua that a vehicle loaded with explosives detonated at the junction of KM5 just opposite Safari hotel.
Police captain Mohamad Hussein told the security forces had been trailing the truck KM4 street in Hodan district on Saturday.

Mohidin Ali, a Mogadishu resident told BBC News, "it was the biggest blast I have ever witnessed, it destroyed the whole area."
No one has taken responsibility for the attack in the city- which has been the target of the Islamist al Quaeda a s sociated group al Shabaab.
