Brazilian professional, Marcos Aoás Corrêa aka Marquinhos plays as a defender for Ligue 1 club Paris Saint-Germain and the Brazil national team. He mainly plays as a central defender and can also play as a right-back.
Early Life of Marquinhos
Marcos Aoás Corrêa was born on May 14, 1994, in São Paulo, Brazil. Brazilian by nationality, he belongs to the Brazilians race.
Marquinhos is the son of Marcos Barros Corrêa and Alina Aoás. He has a brother named Luan Aoás Corrêa.
Marquinho's Career
Marquinhos made his debut at the age of eight from the Brazilian club Corinthians. He was first included in a senior matchday squad on 29 January 2012, after winning the state junior cup. He remained as an unused substitute in their 1-0 home victory over Linense in the Campeonato Paulista.
Marquinhos has played six games in the national championship and was an unused substitute as the club won the 2012 Copa Libertadores Finals against Boca Juniors.
Marquinhos was signed by Italian club Roma from Corinthians in July 2012. The transfer was initially a one-year loan for a fee of €1.5 million. The fee rose to €3 million after he made eight first-team appearances of at least 45 each.
Marquinhos played under the name Marcos printed on his jersey while at Roma to avoid confusion with teammate Marquinho. He played 26 Serie A games in his only season, and four in the Coppa Italia.
Marquinhos signed a five-year-contract with French club Paris Saint-Germain for a transfer fee of €31.4 million. This was then the highest transfer fee for a teenager according to BBC sport though Sky Sports reported it as then the fifth highest transfer, and France's Le 10 Sports record it as the third-highest.
PSG started the 2015–16 season with a 2–0 win over Lyon in the 2015 Trophée des Champions. Marquinhos was unused, as Serge Aurier played at right back during the game. Chelsea had two bids rejected for his signature amounting between £25.7 - £40.4 million.
Marquinhos currently plays for PSG and the Brazilian national team. He alongside clubmates Silva and Neymar have been included in manager Tite’s 23-man squad for the final tournament in Russia.

The 24-year-old defender is married and has a daughter. He has been engaged to Brazilian singer and reality television contestant Carol Cabrino. He told Le Parisien about their engagement in May 2015. He proposed to Carol underneath the Eiffel Tower.
The couple had a civil wedding in June 2016. Their daughter was born on 1 November 2017, with Cabrino having gone early into labor while watching Marquinhos playing a Champions League match against Anderlecht at the Parc des Princes.
