Man Arrested For Stabbing An Eight-Month Pregnant And Manslaughter Of Her Baby Son

A 25-year-old man from Peckham was arrested and charged with murdering an eight-month-pregnant woman along with her baby son.

Aaron McKenzie from South London was taken into custody on Thursday, 11th July for killing Kelly Mary Fauvrelle. Ms. Fauvrelle was murdered in her bedroom in her Thornton Heath home, London. She was reportedly killed in the early hours of June 29.

Paramedics delivered her unborn baby, however, died in hospital on July 3. Mail Online reported the Scotland Yard said McKenzie was also charged with the possession of an offensive weapon.

The woman's family members and relatives were at the home when the murder took place, and the relatives reportedly heard her screams at around 3:30 in the morning. Previously, two other men were arrested on suspicion of Ms. Fauvrelle's murder.

One of them, aged 37, was released without any further action while another, aged 29, was released on bail until early August.

Meanwhile, McKenzie is scheduled to appear in Camberwell Green Magistrates' Court on Monday. According to Daily Mail, Fauvrelle's murder was the 65th murder in London this year while the figure has already reached 78.
