Makoto Hasebe

Captain of the Japanese National Football team Makoto Hasebe made his professional debut in 2002 playing for the Urawa Red Diamonds and made his first international appearance for Japan in 2006. As of 2018, he plays as a defensive midfielder for  Bundesliga club Eintracht Frankfurt.

Till now, he has made more than 380 club appearance scoring 19 goals. He was awarded the J. League Cup New hero Award while he was playing for Urawa Red Diamonds, in 2004. He led the Japanese team in the FIFA World Cup 2018, Russia. 

Early Life And Early Career Of Makoto Hasebe

Makoto Hasebe was born on January 18, 1984, in Fujieda, Shizuoka, Japan. He was raised in Fujieda, Shizuoka. He holds Japanese nationality and ethnicity wise, he is Asian. 

Hasebe attended Fujieda Higashi High School in 2002. And following his high school level, the footballer went on to join the professional a s sociation football club Urawa Red Diamonds and started playing regularly for the team since 2003.

Club Career

Though Italian Series A side A.C. Siena disparately wanted to sign him in 2008.  Hasebe eventually joined the football club VfL Wolfsburg as well as became the second Japanese player to win the Bundesliga title the following year.

His career with the club ended up scoring 5 goals in his 135 appearances on 2 September 2013, he went on to make an agreement with the 1. FC Nurnberg signing a three-year contract but, within a year he transferred to Eintracht Frankfurt and signed a two-year contract. In a total of his 100 appearances for the club, he scored 2 goals. 

International Career 

Hasebe made his first senior appearance for Japan in a friendly match against the United States on February 11th, 2006, at AT&T Park in San Francisco. During the 2010 FIFA World Cub, he became the on-field captain. In his 100 appearances for his country, he scored 2 international goals. He is the captain of the Japanese national team. He played in the first squad of Japan in the FIFA world cup 2018.

It is reported that the pair started dating in the year 2013. The relationship between them is going pretty strong.

His wife Arisa Sato is a Japanese model and weathercaster. She is represented by the talent agency Stardust Promotion. She has been working in the acting fraternity for almost one decade. She made her television debut in NTV series LQ: Onna o Ageru 30-bu. She also played a lead role in a TV drama Love 17 at that year.

Following she presented in a news show Mezamashi TV on Fuji TV. In 2010, she was a weathercaster on NTV’s news show Going!Sports&News. In 2010, she made her film debut in Remember Hotel. Her next film was Strobe Edge which came out in 2015.
