Country Singer And Hall Of Fame Loretta Lynn Suffers Broken Hip In Fall At Home

The Country Music Hall of Famer Loretta Lynn has suffered a broken hip after she fell at her home on New Year 2018.

Lynn's daughter Pasty revealed her mother's injury to People where she said,

She had an accident on New Year’s Day and fractured her hip 

She continued,

At my mom’s age it’s so dangerous when it comes to the hip, so we’re all just grateful she seems to be okay. She’s up putting weight on it and starting her rehab now.

Her sister, Crystal Gayle also discussed her injury on Twitter and said she wishes for her sister's better health on her birthday.

Lynn's sister Gayle tweeted 

My birthday wish is for everyone to send love and prayers to my sister

She continued

I was with Loretta yesterday. She is in good spirits and is doing as well as can be expected with this type of injury. Thank you for your love, prayers and continued support!

Last year, the 85-year-old singing legend took a long rest after suffering a stroke in May. Due to her bad health condition, the release of her new album, Wouldn't It Be Great was held back until she recovered.
