American author and yacht Captain Lee Rosbach’s son Joshua Lee Rosbach died of an accidental drug overdose. He died at the age of 42.
On Monday, Lee posted a tribute via Instagram revealing the death of his late son who battled addiction for two decades. His son laid to rest on Saturday.
Lee uploaded a picture of his son alongside with the caption: This past Saturday, my beloved wife Mary Anne and I laid our youngest son, Joshua Lee Rosbach to rest. After a twenty-year struggle, he finally succ u mbed to the demons he fought so long and so hard. Addiction is an insidious disease that knows no social status or geographic boundaries.
In the post, Lee praised his son that they were proud of the man who had become in spite of his problems. Joshua’s parents now feel a hole in their souls, which will never be filled.
Concluding the post, Lee wrote and requested everyone to be kind and love the one who is fighting the disease.
As per the tribute message posted on Dignity Memorial, Joshua died on 22nd July in the comfort of his house. He was everything to his mother and father.
Lee’s family has asked for donations in Joshua’s memory to be made to Humane Society of Broward County.
