Leah Donna Dizon known as Leah Dizon is a singer, model, and a former gaijin Taranto. She gained huge popularity with her albums named Destiny Line and Communication.

Early life and education

Leah Dizon was born and raised in Las Vegas, Nevada, on 24th September 1986. Her father is of Filipino and of Chinese descent and her mother is of French ancestry. Leah is the fourth of six children; she has an older sister, two older brother and two younger brothers.

At the age of 14, Leah worked at the clothing store and saved enough money to travel to Japan alone for a trip. Leah studied at the Las Vegas Academy of Performing Arts but eventually graduated from Eldorado High School in 2004 where she grew keen interest in the theater.

Career

Leah's professional career began when she was 18 after she graduated from the college majoring in films. Leah appeared as a promotional model for local car shows while she was in Los Angeles. Her photographs were posted online and gained 2 million Google hits within a year among which most of the viewers were from China and Japan

She was appreciated and well recognized for her unique looks. Many Japanese fans requested her to work in their country which made her submit several dance videos and demo tapes to a Japanese company called Victor Entertainment and got signed to a recording contract.

In 2006, Leah moved to Tokyo and began taking Japanese lessons along with taking vocal training. Leah released her photo book named Petite Amie which is considered as the third best-selling photobook of the year 2006 and 2007.

On 14 Feb 2007, Leah made her debut in musical career through Victor Entertainment. Her debut single was "Softly," followed by Koi Shiyo and L.O.V.E U which peaked within top ten on the Oricon Weekly Chart.

One of her single, Could you be that one? was featured in a PlayStation 3 Ninja Gaiden Sigma. Leah released her debut album, Destiny Line in September 2007. After her debut album, she released two singles, Love Paradox and Vanilla.

During 2008, Leah released her second album, Communication. Her singles, Under the Same Sky and Lost At Sea, was used in a Japanese Drama.

Personal life 

Leah Dizon was married to her stylist Bun. The couple met on the set while shooting a music video for her single Love Paradox. After dating together for several weeks, they got married. Leah was three months pregnant with their child during their marriage.

On 10 October 2008, Their wedding was completed in fully Traditional Japanese culture. Their first child, a daughter named Mila was born on April 24, 2009. The couple seemed to have a great chemistry family but in one of her interviews, Leah said that her relationship with her husband has become obdurate after the birth of their child.

In 2010, Leah announced their divorce and filed for full custody of her daughter. On Feb 22, 2011, Leah received the full custody of her daughter. In 2013, it was heard that Leah’s ex-husband had stopped paying child support for their daughter as the reason was his business partner went bankrupt. For now, Leah lives in Las Vegas with her mother and daughter.
