A Kentucky father has been charged with the murder of his infant son whom he punched in his head after losing a video game. Moreover, the enraged father dropped the baby onto the floor causing severe wounds on the baby.
Anthony Trice, 26, who was caring for the baby Friday got angry after losing the game and threw his controller before striking the kid in the head, said the Louisville Metro Police Department.
Further, Louisville's WAVE-TV reported Trice dropped the baby onto the kitchen floor while he was trying to comfort the baby. He made a 911 call after he noticed his son was in distress and was taken to the Norton Children's Hospital.
The baby had been initially called in severe condition, but he died two days later at a hospital. Trice was initially indicted on criminal abuse first degree of a child; however, after the kid died, his charges were upgraded to murder.
He has been held in custody with $1,000,000 bond which was set after his court appearance on Monday.
