Rising country singer, Justin Carter has died. The 35-year-old singer died after he accidentally shot himself with a gun that was being used as a prop on the set in Texas.
Cindy McClellan, Carter's mother told Fox News Carter was shooting a music video in Houston on Saturday, March, 16 when a gun put in his pocket him auto-triggered and hit in his eye. McClellan told,
He had a Bible in his room, in the den, he had one in his truck. He gave to charities.
Carter's mother further told he was about to go on tour after he signed to Triple Threat Management. Recently, he also released a new song "Love Affair" on March 9.
Meanwhile, Triple Threat Management also confirmed his death to ABC 13 on Thursday saying,
Justin had potential to, you know, in our eyes, and a lot of people's eyes, to be the next Garth Brooks.
Moreover, Carter's Instagram page shared a heartfelt message thanking his fans and supporters for their support. "Please Keep Justin's Family In Your Prayers," said the singer's Instagram page.
The late singer's Instagram page has also asked his fans to donate to Carter's family to aid his funeral costs.
