Justin Bieber Apologizes After Cancelling Remaining Dates of 'Purpose' Tour

Beliebers, it’s sad news.

Justin Bieber shocked Beliebers worldwide after he announced that he would cancel the remaining dates of his ‘Purpose’ world tour three months early. With the news, he was really fast to put up an apology letter for his fans too.

He told TMZ, "I have been on tour for two years. I'm looking forward to just resting, getting some relaxation and we're going to ride some bikes."

 

Bieber also posted a personal message to his fans saying, “"I love you guys," he said. I think you guys are awesome. Sorry for anybody who feels disappointed or betrayed.  It's not my heart or anything."

The sudden announcement affects 14 dates in Asia and North America which were coming up over the next three months.

The star’s rep said in a statement,

“Due to unforeseen circ u mstances, Justin Bieber will cancel the remainder of the Purpose World Tour concerts.”

The rep also added,

“Justin loves his fans and hates to disappoint them. He thanks his fans for the incredible experience of the Purpose World Tour over last 18 months. He is grateful and honored to have shared that experience with his cast and crew for over 150 successful shows across six continents during this run. However, after careful consideration, he has decided he will not be performing any further dates. Tickets will be refunded at point of purchase.”

 

The cancellation will also impact ticket holders of over a dozen upcoming concerts, including a Dallas show scheduled for Saturday.

The exact reason for the cancellation of the concert was not announced which resulted in many fans showing their dismay on Twitter.

The tour grossed $93.2m (£71.5m) in the first half of 2017, with an average of almost 40,000 ticket sales per date. But anyone who bought tickets to a Bieber show can get a refund at their point of purchase.
