• Singer Jordin Sparks has welcomed her first child with husband Dana Isaiah.
• The 28-year-old singer revealed the birth of her first son to People.
• The couple welcomed their baby boy, Dana Isaiah Thomas Jr. on Wednesday, May 2.
• Sparks and Isiah, a model tied the knot in July 2017.
• Six weeks after their marriage, they confirmed they were expecting their first child.

The 28-year-old singer and her husband, a 25-year-old model, Isaiah welcomed their first child, a baby boy named Dana Isaiah Thomas Jr., People confirmed. "He's here & we couldn't be more in love!!! Go DJ!" the singer captioned the snap of her newborn she shared on her Instagram.

According to People, the baby boy was born on May 2 at 9:04 p.m. at the Natural Birth Center & Women's Wellness, Los Angeles. The baby boy weighed 8 lbs. 4.5 oz. and measured 21½ inches.

Sparks told People,

It was miraculously beautiful. Dana caught him with my midwife, Simona, and when he handed him to me, I was absolutely overwhelmed with joy. He was and is everything we imagined.

Sparks added,

I'm feeling pretty good! I am so grateful for my husband and the amazing team at the Natural Birthday Center. I don't think I would be feeling this great without them!

Sparks and a fitness model, Dana Isaiah married in July 2017.  Three months after their marriage, the pair announced that the One Step At A Time singer pregnant with her first child with her husband Isaiah. Later, the singer took to her Instagram revealing their first child would be a boy whom they expect in spring 2018.

Sparks was previously in a relationship with a singer and songwriter Jason Derulo. The pair dated for three years before calling it quit in 2014.
