He took to Twitter and criticized the 90th academy awards selection condemning it to be the lowest rated Oscar in history. He tweeted:

Lowest rated Oscars in HISTORY," the commander in chief tweeted on Tuesday. "Problem is, we don't have stars anymore—except your president (just kidding, of course)!

One of the quick responses to the president’s tweet came from the man who hosted 90th academy awards, Jimmy Kimmel. He wrote:

Thanks, lowest rated President in HISTORY

To all claims, it’s true that the Oscar this year had a drop of 20% viewership compared to 89th academy award which is supposed to be the all-time lowest with 26.5 million viewers.

Probably what went wrong with Donald Trump can be the opening monologue on the 90th academy award where Kimmel said:

Donald Trump called Get Out the best first three-quarters of a movie this year.

At the opening of the award show, Kimmel referenced vice president mike pence. Kimmel said:

We don't make films like Call Me by Your Name for money. We make them upset Mike Pence.

Well, it would be interesting to see this war of words between two of the best debaters of states will continue or take a break.
