Jimmy Fallon's Mother Gloria Fallon Dies At 68, A Day After He Cancelled Taping The Tonight Show

The Tonight Show host Jimmy Fallon's mother Gloria Fallon has died at 68, on Saturday, 4th November, multiple sources confirmed. 

The mother of the 43-year-old television host canceled his Friday's episode due to his mother's health condition. A source told People, that Gloria was sick and that Fallon had gone to the hospital to be by her side.

His family spokesperson said Gloria died 'peacefully' on Saturday at New York City's NYU Langone Medical Center.

He said,

Jimmy was at his mother's bedside, along with her loved ones, when she pa s sed away at NYU Langone Medical Center in NYC. Our prayers go out to Jimmy and his family as they go through this tough time.

Fallon had been close to his mother for years. Although Fallon has kept his personal life private, he has shared some funny stories and sweet moments about his mother.

In June, he told Howard Stern that his mother used to be a nun while a month ago, he shared a memory of his mother as part of a '#MomQuotes' in a talk show.
