Earlier this month, reality star Jess Shears and her husband Dom Lever announced that they are expecting a baby together.

Recently, Jess and Dom, who are expecting a baby, revealed that they took ten pregnancy tests to confirm that they are expecting a child.

During a candid interview with New! Magazine, 25 years old model explained that they decided to wait five months until sharing the happy news because there could be a risk for their unborn baby due to the star’s rare blood type.

Jess and Dom lifted the lid on the moment they found out they are expecting first child together.

While asking the reason behind keeping the pregnancy secret, the pair revealed that the mother-to-be is rhesus negative, which means there could be a risk for the child.

For your information; Rhesus disease is a medical condition in which antibodies in a pregnant woman’s blood destroy her baby’s blood cells.

The honey-blonde beauty explained that she was not aware of such medical conditions until recently, and people with such medical conditions have higher chances of miscarriages.

She said:

I wanted to make sure everything was good with the baby, and it also gave us a bit of time to enjoy it together.
