Jennifer Hudson And David Otunga Called Off Engagement, Court Provides Protective Order Against Him

Singer Jennifer Hudson and fiance David Otunga's ten-year-long relationship has come to an end. The 36-year-old The Voice coach has also received a protective order against him.

Singer Hudson's representative exclusively confirmed their breakup to People in a statement, saying: "They have been in the process of ending their relationship for a number of months.''

Today, Jennifer requested and received a protective order against her ex-fiance. Jennifer's actions are solely taken in the best interest of their son.

The former professional wrestler Otunga and Hudson started dating in early 2008, and they engaged in September 2008 after less than a year of dating. After only seven months of the relationship, wrestler Otunga proposed his girlfriend on her 27th birthday on September 12.

They welcomed their first and only child, son David Daniel Otunga Jr., nearly a year later in August 2009.
