Jennifer Granholm is married to Daniel Mulhern,  her boyfriend. They married on 23^rd May 1986 at St. Paul’s Catholic Church in Cambridge, Ma s sachusetts. They celebrated their honeymoon in Ireland.

Granholm first met her husband at Harvard and they both were introduced to each other. They were attracted to each other and soon after three months were engaged. Jennifer revealed that she was attracted by the gentleness and pa s sion of Dan. They also use each other’s surname as their middle names.

The couple is soon celebrating their 31^st marriage anniversary and is very happy with each other. They are blessed with three children. They had their first child, a daughter, Kathryn ‘Kate’ Mulhern in 1988, their second daughter, Cecelia Mulhern in 1990 and a son, Jack Mulhern in 1996. She graduated from San Carlos High School in 1977 Jennifer graduated with B.A. in Political Science and French from Phi Beta Kappa and received Juris Doctor Degree from Harvard University.

Daniel Mulhern was born on 3^rd January 1958 in Detroit, Michigan, the United States. He is a theology graduate from Yale University. He was also a law student at Harvard University where he first met Jennifer. Dan is a recognized expert in leadership, gender and organizational culture. He is also the professor at Haas School of Business and Boalt Law School. He is also known as an author and has published two books.
