Jay Z Confesses Cheating Wife Beyonce, Says Therapy Saved Their Marriage

Jay Z and Beyonce's decade-long relationship was about to end, but therapy saved their marriage, rapper Jay Z admitted after revealing he had cheated his wife of nine years.

The 47-year-old rapper has dropped hints on his unfaithful behavior to wife Beyonce on his recent album 4.44, but the Grammy-winner hasn't confirmed that he stepped out on her.

The New York-born entrepreneur sat down with The New York Times' Dean Baquet for a chat where he revealed what had been happening in their relationship in last 18 months. He said, 

You have to survive. So you go into survival mode, and when you go into survival mode, what happens? You shut down all emotions.

He continued, 

So, even with women, you gonna shut down emotionally, so you can't connect. ... In my case, like, it's deep. And then all the things happen from there: infidelity.

Jay Z also told he reached close to leaving his wife and mother of three but they went through therapies which indeed helped the couple saving their relationship. He also said,

The hardest thing is seeing pain on someone's face that you caused, and then have to deal with yourself.

Z though hasn't revealed the name of the woman he cheated with, however, Beyonce has called her 'Becky with the good hair.'

The couple started dating each other after their collaboration for the 03 Bonnie & Clyde in early 2000. After years of relationship, they married on April 4, 2008, and have three children together. She gave birth to her twins July this year.
