Jam Band Pioneer ‘Bruce Hampton’ Died On Stage Celebrating His 70th birthday
The American musician who was the founder of Hampton Grease Band, Bruce Hampton breathed his last on May 2, 2017.
Celebrating his 70th birthday Bruce came to a tragic end when he along with fellow musicians were performing ‘Turn on your Lovelight’ on stage.
He was lying on the stage for several minutes when he finally was taken backstage for medical treatment.
Bruce was declared dead while he was under medical treatment.
Bruce started his official career with the album “music to eat.”
Later when the album was reviewed negatively, he split from the gang and went to make his solo career.
Bruce stated Album Music to eat was the second worst selling album in Columbia Records history in which played a role in the recording.
His latest album was released in 2014 entitled ‘Pharoah’s Kitchen.' Many musicians and fans of Bruce have expressed their heartfelt condolence to him.
The photographer who was present at the jam session with Bruce stated ‘the concert was an incredible show and the greatest encore to go out on.”
