A Georgian Couple, Who Were Married For Over Seven Decades (71 Years), Died Just Twelve Hours Apart.

  • Marilyn DeLaigle and Herbert DeLaigle died on 12th July, Friday.

According to an Online Obituary, 88 years old Marilyn DeLaigle and 94 years old Herbert DeLaigle died on 12th July, Friday.

As per the post on DeLoach-McKerley-Prescott Funeral House’s website, the pair was married for 71 years old who walked to the stairway to heaven just twelve hours before his wife died.

The couple had welcomed six children together. Their children praised Marilyn as a very devoted mother when their father had gone for months at a time.

The duo shared sixteen grandchildren, twenty-five great-grandchildren, and three great-great-grandchildren.

As per the Obit, Marilyn spent around six years in Germany with her husband while he was in the Army and lived in numerous States during his two decades years in the service.

DeLoach-McKerley-Prescott Funeral Home reported:

He worked alongside his wife at Marilyn’s Nursery, he enjoyed fishing, carpentry and raising a variety of farm animals,
