In the series, two brothers make an effort to find the theorized treasure rumored to have been buried on the uninhabited Oak Island located on the south shore of Nova Scotia, Canada.

The series was premiered on January 5, 2014. The series is based on incorporate historical footage of past searchers as well as dramatic re-creations of infamous events that took place since the late 1700s. In the reality show, The Two Michigan brothers’ work to reveal the mysteries of a treasure island in Nova Scotia.
