Ginger Zee : meteorologist Personal life and her success story of career

Ginger Renee Colonomos, known popularly by her pseudonym, Ginger Zee, is an American TV personality and currently works as weather anchor for Good Morning America. Born on january 13, 1981 in Orange,California. Zee has a stepfather named Carl John Craft, and two half-sisters, Adrianna and Elaina Craft. Here's a thing you need to know about her, despite working as ABC news' chief meteorologist she hates being called "weather girl" because she is not just a weather girl, but a scientist too as she also works as the weather report editor. She is a beautiful news anchor known best for her work in Good Morning America.

 After graduating from the Rockford High school in Rockford, Zee decided to be a meteorologist and pursue her career. She has spoken in an interview stating that being a meteorologist has been her childhood dream and later decide to pursue her career. She later graduated from Valparaiso University, Indiana with a bachelor of science degree in meteorology. After graduation, she worked for various media outlets including WEYI-TV, WLAV-FM, WOOD-TV in Michigan. Later she also worked for WMAQ in Chicago, Illinois. She got her first break when she was asked to fill in the weekend edition of "The Today Show', which is fifth longest running show in American history. In 2011, she made her first appearance on, 'Good Morning America Weekend' which made her a national face. She also made subsequent appearances on "Nightline"  and ABC, 'World News'. Ginger is said to receive a salary of $100,000 a year from ABC. As of 2015, her net worth was expected to be $450,000. Her salary is determined from her work both as the weather editor and meteorologist succeeding Sam Champion. On March 4, 2016, she was also announced as another celebrity competitor in the 22nd season of, 'Dancing with the stars'. A popular show casting many known celebs, Ginger has been successful in getting an entry to the popular dance reality shows to be aired on television. She is also an AMS certified broadcast meteorologist. She had been diagnosed with narcolepsy when she was just 21 years old and said having been dealing with numerous health related problems. Narcolepsy is a neurological disease characterized by extreme tendency to fall asleep while in relaxing surroundings.

In 2013, Zee got engaged to WNBC personality Benjamin Aaron Colonomos. The couple was married in Petoskey, Michigan on June 7, 2014. They were single parents having no children, until June 29, 2015, that is when the couple announced they are expecting their first child in December. They welcomed their son, Adrian Benjamin on December 19, 2015. There are no rumors of divorce prior to her wedding and is said to be happily married.
