Gareth Southgate
Born and raised in Watford, Hertfordshire, Gareth Southgate is an England national team manager since 2016. He began his managerial career with the club Middlesbrough, in June 2006. Southgate later joined the England under-21 team in August 2013. He is a former professional footballer who spent most of his football career playing with the club Crystal Palace as a defender. He has also played for Aston Villa and Middlesbrough and won the League Cup with both clubs Aston Villa in 1995-96 and Middlesbrough in 2003-04 as a captain.
He scored his first international goal on October 14th, 1998 against Luxembourg. His football career ended at the age of 35 after making above 500 league appearances.
