Frankie Ballard is an American country music singer-songwriter as well as guitarist, best known for his country music has the origin of Nashville, Tennessee and also known for singles like "Tell Me You Get Lonely" and "A Buncha Girls." 

Ballard is also a former baseball player, and he played baseball at Mott Community College.

Early life and education

Frankie Ballard was born as Frank Robert on December 16, 1982, in Battle Creek, Michigan, United States of America. He belongs to white ethnicity and holds an American nationality.

Ballard graduated from the Western Michigan University. He most spends his childhood in Michigan where Ballard learns to play guitar and another instrument.

Career

In the summer of 2008, he won Kenny Chesney’s Next Big Star competition. He has also opened shows for Chesney at Michigan venues.

During 2010, Ballard signed with Reprise Records Nashville where he debuted his single titled Tell Me You Get Lonely. This song music video was directed by Marcel Chagnon.

Ballard single received a four-star review from Kyle Ward of Roughstock. Kyle praised his voice saying his debut was above average.

His debut single debuted at no. 59 on Hot Country Songs in 2010 and charted at no. 33 in early 2011. Ballard performed his debut song on January 7, 2011, at the Grand Ole Opry. His second single, A Buncha Girls was released in early 2011. This song music video was directed by Jim Wright. His second single also made into top 40.

Ballard debut album was released in May 2011. His first and second single are included in his self-titled debut album, Frankie Ballard. This album sold over 11,000 copies. In the same year, he also opened for Lady Antebellum.

Later in 2013, Frankie Ballard signed to Warner Bros. Records. He released his third single titled Helluva life under Warner Bros. Records which became Frankie’s first no.1 single in early 2014. This song music video was directed by Mason Dixon. This single is the lead single to his second album titled Sunshine & Whiskey.

 Later, the album’s title track went to no.1. The album, Sunshine & Whiskey third single, Young & Crazy also charted at no. 1 spot. This album sold over 95,400 copies in the US. On November 16, 2015, Ballard first single, It All Started with a Beer, from his third album was released to country radio. This song music video was directed by Marcel Chagnon.

The album titled El Rio was released in 2016 in the month of June. This album sold over 8,600 copies. Ballard’s voice is known for his timeless sound and vintage style.

Personal life

Frankie Ballard married to his girlfriend, Christina Murphy on Sunday, March 13, 2017, at the Star Hill Ranch in Bee Cave, Texas.

His wife Christina is a Texas native who spent ten years working as an actress in LA before starting her company, Old Smokey Boots, which reinvents vintage boots with new styles and designs.
