Michael Avenatti, Attorney For The Popular Adult Actress Stormi Daniels, Arrested For Domestic Violence

  • The attorney, who advocates for the adult movie, was arrested over domestic violence allegations.
  • Avenatti was charged with one count of domestic violence and was held on $50,000 bails.
  • He was released on Wednesday evening on bail.

Michael Avenatti, the lawyer for the adult actress Stormi Daniels, was arrested on Wednesday, 14th November from Los Angeles on domestic violence allegations, multiple sites confirmed.

The LAPD confirmed the lawyer's arrest, however, it also said the investigation on the allegations was being carried out and Avenatti was not initially charged with any felony charges.

The LAPD later confirmed his arrest in a Twitter post.

We can confirm that today LAPD Detectives arrested Michael Avenatti on suspicion of domestic violence. This is an ongoing investigation and we will provide more details as they become available.

He denied the allegations in a statement in front of a group of reporters saying "had no option in light of the allegations." He continued,

I have never struck a woman. I never will strike a woman. I have been an advocate for women's rights my entire career and I'm going to continue to be an advocate. I am not going to be intimidated from stopping what I am doing.

He further added,

I am a father to two beautiful, smart daughters. I would never disrespect them by touching a woman point I am confident I will be fully exonerated. I also want to thank everyone for their support that has reached out. You know my character. You know me as a man and I appreciate it.

Later, the LAPD again took to their Twitter mentioning Avenatti was booked on a felony domestic violence charge and he was held with $50,000 bail.

Update: We can confirm that Michael Avenatti (DOB: 02-16-71) was booked this afternoon on a felony domestic violence charge (273.5 PC). His bail is set at $50,000.

Michael Avenatti, a frequent President Donald Trump critic, made his bail Wednesday evening.
