Former "Playboy Model' Jumps From A NYC Building To Death Taking Her 7-Year-Old Son Along
A 47-year-old woman and her 7-year-old son died after jumping from a New York City hotel on early Friday, police confirmed.
John Grimpel, NYPD lieutenant, told that the woman leaped from the 25th floor of the Gotham Hotel in Manhattan with her son at around 8:15 in the morning.
Multiple outlets have reported that the deceased woman was the former Playboy centerfold, Stephanie Adams and the child was her 7-year-old son Vincent which she shared with Charles Nicolai; however, the police haven't officially confirmed the details yet.
According to a New York Post article, the mother-and-son, who checked into the hotel around 6 pm on Thursday night, found dead on the second floor of the hotel's courtyard.
NYPD Chief of Manhattan Detectives William Aubrey told in a press conference,
Early this morning investigators located an individual whose attention was drawn to that same second-floor area when he heard two loud noises.
He continued,
His attention was drawn to that and he discovered these two deceased individuals.
The death comes shortly after Adams had a fierce court battle with her estranged husband, Charles Nicolai regarding the custody of their son. People reported neither Adams nor Nicolai's attorney responded to their request for comment.
