Former Chairman and CEO of Fox News, Roger Ailes Died At 77

Media personality Roger Ailes who was charged with sexual hara s sment allegations last year died at age 77.

He was the former CEO of Fox news and fox business network as well.

The news of his demise broke out and many media personality paid their homage to Roger who also served as president of CNBC before working for Fox.

His wife Elizabeth Ailes in a statement said, "I am profoundly sad and heartbroken to report that my husband, Roger Ailes, pa s sed away this morning surrounded by his beautiful family. Roger was my best friend, the most wonderful loving husband and father to our son Zachary, He was a loyal friend to so many.

Roger was a patriot, grateful to live in a country that gave him so much opportunity to work hard, to rise and to give back. During a career that stretched over more than five decades, his work in entertainment, in politics, and in news affected the lives of many millions."

  The cause of death was not revealed.
