Former Hollywood actress Fay McKenzie, who rose to stardom for her performances in the films like The Party, Sierra Sue, and Home in Wyomin' has died. She was 101 years old.

Several outlets reported Fay died in sleep on April 16 in LA which was first announced by her relative Bryan Cooper. Cause of her death is not revealed yet which is believed due to old age.

Starting from the early 40s in the movies like Sierra Sue and Down Mexico Way, McKenzie rose to fame after her appearance in 1968 hit The Party where she worked as Alice Clutterbuck.

Born in Hollywood, LA, on February 19, 1918, as a daughter of actors Eva and Bob McKenzie, Fay got the opportunities to be featured in the films from an early age. She was only 10 months when actress Gloria Swanson cradled in her arms in the silent film Station Content. She received education at MGM's Little Red Schoolhouse.

She was briefly married to actor Steve Cochran in the 40s before she tied the knot with the screenwriter Tom Waldman. She remained married to him until his death in 1985. She is survived by her children Tom and Madora and two grandchildren.
