Chinese actress, pop singer, model, and television producer Fan Bingbing has confirmed that she has broken up from her fiancé, actor Li Chen. On Thursday, the actress confirmed the news on her Weibo page. She wrote:

The love and warmth that we have gained in our encounters are turned into eternal power. Thank you for all your giving, support and love. Thank you for your care and love in the future.

The 37 years old star also added that they are no longer together.

Back in September 2017, the pair announced their engagement after Li popped out the question at her birthday party.

Fan and Li first met while working on the Chinese television series, The Empress of China. Since then, she has been announced as China’s highest-paid actress and made headlines claiming missing after she stopped posting on her social media accounts for months.

However, she turned to social media in February, sharing numerous close-up pictures of herself and wishing her followers a happy Chinese New Year.

In October, the Chinese authorities fined her $70 million for tax evasion.
